Deb Ferguson is an accredited coach, keynote speaker and facilitator in the area of personal and professional leadership. With extensive experience in education and small business, Deb’s drive is to inspire and motivate people to manage their increasing personal and professional demands. Her vision is for people and communities to flourish.

Deb is an accomplished keynote speaker and has spoken at various major education and economic conferences. Her specialties include training leadership and school communities in culture and ethics, wellbeing, team management and challenging conversations.

As a staff member of The Australian Ballet School’s Health Team, Deb has been instrumental in the writing and teaching of the world’s first program to build a resilient school community. Students are trained in positive psychology and emotional intelligence to support them in making mindful choices so that they can flourish as people and dancers.

As an entrepreneur, Deb is the innovator of the world’s first UV protected suit for children. She spent eight years as the owner and operating manager of Zootz Australia P/L. Her company won a Victorian Business Award for Innovation and Excellence, was a finalist in the Australian Business Awards and Deb served as a member of The Reserve Bank’s Small Business Advisory Panel./p>

A published author, Deb wrote ‘What Teachers Need to Know about Personal Wellbeing’ published by the Australian Centre of Educational Research (2008). She was an ongoing contributor to Teacher Magazine (ACER) where she was widely published in the areas of wellbeing, conflict management and resiliency.

Deb holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma of Education from Monash University. She is an Accredited Growth Coaching International Coach and has completed the GCI Solutions Focus Master Class. She also holds an Accreditation in GENOS Emotional Intelligence and has a Certificate IV Training and Assessment as well as being a Mediator.
