Dr Nicky Knight

Nicky is an education consultant and founding Director of The Education Group, an independent consulting company based in Auckland. Nicky has a background in primary education, and as a Ministry of Education Accredited professional learning and development provider, designs, and delivers professional learning and development for Boards, school leaders and teachers.

Nicky is also the Director of Growth Coaching International New Zealand, coordinating the implementation of a wide range of coaching workshops across New Zealand for Growth Coaching International (GCI) a highly reputable international coaching company based in Sydney. She attends GCI Strategic Leadership Team meetings gaining an international perspective on developments in coaching. Nicky has recently been awarded Senior Practitioner status with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. She has also presented at a number of local and international conferences in coaching.

Nicky has completed a Doctor of Education with The University of Auckland. Her research examined the complex issue of sustaining improved student outcomes and teaching practice in mathematics.
