School leaders play an important role in ensuring that their schools are characterised by high quality connections.

This is a powerful program for leaders seeking to manage more effectively by learning about their own management preferences and priorities and how to manage, motivate, direct and develop others.

The Growing High Trust Relationships program is an interactive and practical 1-day workshop offering leaders the opportunity for greater awareness of self – and others – through an interpersonal, flexible and rapport-driven approach to leadership and coaching for greater impact.

The DiSC® Management Profile is a highly practical tool that helps leaders to bring out the best in themselves and those they lead - building trust, improving communication, and increasing engagement.

What is DiSC?

DiSC® is the leading personal assessment tool - a highly practical tool that helps build trust, improve communication, and increase engagement. You will learn to understand and appreciate the styles of the people you work with, resulting in more effective and productive workplace relations.

The DiSC profile, published by Wiley, is a non-judgemental tool used for discussion of people's behavioral differences. If you participate in a DiSC program, you'll be asked to complete a series of questions that produce a detailed report about your personality and behaviour. You'll also receive tips related to working with people of other styles.

Who Is This Program Suitable For?

  • The DiSC Management Profile is suitable for anyone who leads others - school leaders and managers
  • The DiSC Workplace Profile is offered as an alternative and is designed for those who are not necessarily leading others.

Both programs can be run within a school (minimum 8 participants) or within a community of schools. Individuals, pairs or small groups may wish to attend a public program. Refer to Current Workshops for dates.

Program Outcomes

The Growing High Trust Relationships program is designed to:
  • Provide greater awareness of the underlying needs that drive behaviours of yourself and those with whom you interact
  • Discover the DiSC® model and how it informs the role of leader
  • Develop skills in a method for recognising other people’s DiSC® styles within a coaching context
  • Explore the priorities that drive your own management style
  • Explore the influence your management style has on how you manage time, make decisions, and approach challenges
  • Build knowledge and skill in using specific strategies for building trust and connection with those who operate differently from you

Program Structure

The Growing High Trust Relationships program is delivered in a one-day workshop with a compulsory pre-workshop online DiSC® Profile to be completed prior to the workshop.

Contribution To Registered PD Hours

Completion of the one-day Growing High Trust Relationships program addresses the following domains and standards for Lead teacher from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers as published by the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL): 6.1.4, 6.2.4, 6.3.4, 6.4.4, 7.3.4, 7.4.4

Completing Growing High Trust Relationships 1-day program will contribute to 6 hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 6.1.4, 6.2.4, 6.3.4, 6.4.4, 7.3.4, 7.4.4 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Lead Teacher Accreditation in NSW.


Upon completion you will receive a GCI certificate of participation. You may also wish to add the program to your LinkedIn qualifications.

Minimum Entry Requirements

  • Participants should presently be in a role in an educational organisation (including school, university, TAFE, related Head Office role or other private or government education institutions) or a not-for-profit organisation.
  • Participants must complete on online DiSC® Management Profile prior to attending the workshop.

Terms and Conditions

By registering for any of the above events the following cancellation policy applies:
  • All cancellations or changes must be requested in writing or by email to
  • If unable to attend the program you may transfer:
    *your registration to another nominated person
    *to another program. However, only one change is allowed. Rescheduling must take place within 12 months of initial program.
  • Cancellations up to 5 days prior to the workshop:
    *$100 plus GST administrative fee for rescheduling requests or nominating another attendee or
    *50% of the program fee plus GST for refund requests.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled workshop:
    * $150 plus GST administrative fee for rescheduling requests or nominating another attendee or
    *75% of the program fee plus GST for refund requests.
  • No refunds or credits for “no-shows” on the day of the workshop will be granted.
  • In the event that the Program is cancelled, registrants will be reimbursed their registration fee.
