Kaye Blackburne

Consultant Coach

Kaye, a former principal, is a facilitator and coach for Growth Coaching International. Kaye is nationally and internationally recognised for her work in leadership development and in Emotional Intelligence training. Her Social and Emotional Intelligence qualifications enable her to coach a wide range of leaders to build their capacity.

Kaye has a Masters of Educational Administration (CSU); a Graduate Diploma of Special Education (Melbourne University); a Certificate of School Leadership and Management (Melbourne University); and a Diploma of Teaching Primary, (Burwood State College).

Kaye’s professional qualifications include being a Certified EQ Practitioner; a Certified EQ Assessor; an accredited Genos Assessor; an Accredited Professional Coach, (Growth Coaching International) with a Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment.

Kaye is a Member of the Institute of Coaching, and EQ.org. Her professional research has investigated the effects of generational poverty and school improvement. Kaye also works in leadership development for Queensland Education Leadership Institute (QELi) and BASTOW and consults across Australia with schools through building creating visions and pathways to build emotionally intelligent schools.
