Andrea Stringer

Andrea’s work experience has incorporated coaching leaders and educators, designing and supporting educators’ professional learning, developing an educational Institute and teacher accreditation. She believes that an educator's professional learning should be personalised and empowering and is interested in bridging the gap between practice and educational research.

Andrea is a Doctoral student at the University of New South Wales & Gonski Institute and her research area is on the professional growth of early career teachers and the impact of coaching. A qualified teacher (NESA), Andrea has a Master of Education and a Graduate Certificate in Gifted Education. Coaching is a way of being and to be in this field with other passionate coaches and facilitators at GCI, she finds personally and professionally rewarding.
