Bernadette Pearce

Bernadette has held a system leadership position in Catholic Education for the past 13 years. Prior to commencing in this position she was a Numeracy Leader & teacher in Melbourne schools. Her work has centred on empowering leaders to create effective learning environments for students, teachers and leaders. This includes:

∙ Advocate for research informed best practice

∙ Build capacity of leaders to lead change in schools around best practice in learning & teaching

∙ Facilitate professional learning around teaching of mathematics & leadership

∙ Provide coaching & mentoring opportunities for Middle Leaders

Bernadette is a GCI accredited coach & an experienced presenter & facilitator. She works with Middle Leaders & Principals in school improvement initiatives.

Bernadette attests to the privilege and joy it is to work with so many passionate educators who want to grow themselves further and find ways to set and reach their goals. She is inspired by coaching as a tool to affirm and support personal growth.

Bernadette holds a Master of Education and a Bachelor Arts/Bachelor of Teaching from ACU Fitzroy Melbourne; a Specialist Certificate in Leadership of Professional Practice from Melbourne University; P-10 Numeracy leadership from Monash University Clayton.
