Emma is a highly accomplished educational professional with a proven track record of success in systems and school leadership. With 25+ years of experience in the education, she has made significant contributions to students, teachers, school leadership teams and the communities she has served.

As a lead learner and member of the senior leadership executive, Emma has been successful in driving coaching, mentoring and school planning statewide at Director level. This strategic experience combined with her previous positions supporting a complex principal network and experience in the principal role in three Western Sydney schools provides her with an authentic understanding of the realities of educational leadership.

Emma has always demonstrated a strong research base to support senior educational leaders and school leadership teams to implement a culture of continuous school improvement to support students from preschool to year 12. Her commitment to improvement is based around a belief that all students can and will learn in supportive inclusive environments. Her additional credentials and interest are in positive education, emotional intelligence, personality profiling and strengths-based assessments.

Whilst Emma’s work within Public Education at the systems leadership level and her global perspective of both school operations and supporting systems planning, her academic background is equally impressive. She holds a Bachelor of Education (Primary) from The University of Wollongong. A Master in Special Education with a specialisation in Emotional Disturbance and Behaviour Disorder from The University of Newcastle, where she graduated with honours. More recently she has been engaged with Melbourne University completing a Professional Certificate in Instructional Leadership and a Professional Certificate in Positive Education.
